Nightmare in Nevada

Hmmm...from "Dreaming of Paris" to "Nightmare in Nevada" - nothing like a little variety to spice things up, eh? =)

Yeah, a definite goosebump experience =) I think it's the words "Dead Cows on Sale" that really gets me - icky!!!

Even without the words on the sign, the image is so...like a film set for some grim 1940s noir film or maybe "It's A Wonderful Life" when George Bailey comes back to his hometown and nobody knows who he is and the bartender throws him into the snow.

I's REALLY a good, atmospheric photo.

Thanks Pondering Pig ... I did some playing around with shadows and highlights here, and really liked the effects I ended up with ... the original pic was very boring, but this one took on a life of its own & has a bit of a gritty personality I do believe =)

A little different from your usual posts and most striking. This is a great feeling of macabre and has a bit of a parralel world feel to it. Like this one a lot.
