I usually shy away from taking "people pics" but I certainly envy photographers who have no trouble going out and taking photos of complete strangers...of course, this guy isn't a "stranger", he's my son James and he's always liked getting his pic taken. Does anybody else think he looks like a young Michael J. Fox? I do!

James has always been a "people person" and enjoys an audience so ya never know what the future might hold for him. I'm sure a show biz career is more than possible.

The same for me, I cannot shoot strangers, to take a portrait I need to have some personal connection with the person.
I've always admired Michael J Fox -more today than ever before...what an example of incredible perseverance and talent. (Actually, James's middle name is Michael *for* MJF.) You're right about those qualities too - I certainly like to think I have a good attitude and, yeah, smiling is good...I just need to work on that "quick practice" thing =) Thanks for your comments!
