Whew! It was a busy day - but very fun! Since we were celebrating my birthday early I got to go to two of my favorite places today - Lowe's to buy lots of flowers to plant (will be doing that tomorrow, so I will get some pics of the planting-in-progress) and Michael's to stock up on craft supplies. In between cleaning the pool and doing yardwork, John even managed to make an excellent dinner tonight, ordered & picked up a beautiful cake from Dierberg's, and took Jim and Lisa shopping. That man has energy!!!
All in all, it was truly a beautiful day - the blossoms on the trees are astounding - so pretty they bring tears to my eyes (no, I'm not allergic LOL) ... their scent is heavenly (the pink one is right outside my bedroom window - so lovely to see in the early morning). I love days like these!
