Here is my submission for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge this week, "Wishlist". For this piece I used picture tubes and a frame from Paint Shop Pro X2, the Jane Austen font, and a collage that I created several years ago of a vintage lady (probably from the Collage Image group on Flickr where I find most of the vintage images I use in my collages) combined with a photo I took of our Christmas candles one year. I don't really have a Christmas list this year, I'm ashamed to say I have way too many "things" and the time has come to donate a lot of items to the Goodwill; so for myself and my family I am praying mostly for good health, happiness and togetherness (and hopefully the opportunity to create a lot of art =).

I use Paint Shop Pro X and Paint Shop Pro X2, as well as Adobe Photoshop CS4 to create my digital collages. Please do not copy the images on this blog without permission. My new 2017 calendar is ready for purchase! Please click on the Lulu link, in the right margin and it will take you to the page where you can place your order. This is a 12 month calendar, glossy, measuring 8.5" x 11" - featuring 12 unique digital images that I've created. These can be matted and framed, as the months go by, so it is pretty much like getting 12 prints for only $14.99. Pretty cool, I think =) Please let me know if you have any questions! With blessings of love and light, Peggi

My Story is Featured on Crescendoh This Week =)
Hooray! Yippy!!! Several weeks ago I submitted my Reader's Share story to Crescendoh, Jenny Doh's new amazing on-line website, and this week it is being featured. I am so happy and thrilled that it was published! The theme is Art Saves, something I have very much come to believe in - I know that Art has helped me over and over again, through many valleys and dark days; and I am confident that it is an anchor I will be able to rely on throughout my life. If you get a chance please take a look at the article. I would be happy if it in any way helps someone or gives them encouragement to get through their own "dark days" by tapping into their creativity, and their artful self ...
