My new 2017 calendar is ready for purchase! Please click on the Lulu link, in the right margin and it will take you to the page where you can place your order. This is a 12 month calendar, glossy, measuring 8.5" x 11" - featuring 12 unique digital images that I've created. A couple more photos...
Well, the days are very quickly passing by now - it's hard to believe tomorrow is already Christmas Eve day. We haven't had any more snow, in fact it is only a memory now, all melted away. Lots of wind and icy rain, but that's it...ah well...
So here are some more recent house photos ... the third photo down has one of my most special items in it. My friend Keith, of Gardens of the Inner Eye was kind enough to send me a print of one of his lovely photos. It is so beautiful, and I really need to get a better frame for it - silver, I'm thinking - but there it stands, in the piano room on the table beside my favorite lamp, miniscule Mata Ortiz pot and part of my doll collection. Thank you again, Keith =) !!!
The second photo is my newest splurge - a quilt I've been wanting for quite some time now...I also purchased the matching shams, so when I get back from AZ next week I'm going to be doing a lot of much needed decorating (getting something new like the quilt always inspires me to do lots of cleaning and organizing, and decorating, of course =)
I hope you are all enjoying a warm (inside, at least) and safe and happy holiday season thus far...and I wish for you all the best things that God has in store for you this Christmas. Much love, Peggi xoxo

Hope you are wrapping your presents with beautiful red bows, lighting hundreds of brightly burning red and green candles, putting on warm red sweaters and socks, and making Christmas cookies - covered with little red sprinkles...

From Sherry's Blog - Esprit d'Art
I just read this on Sherry's blog - something I don't believe I've ever read before but it certainly touched me and inspires me at a time when I need it most...thanks so much for posting this, Sherry!
Promise Yourself-
To be strong so that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

You Make My Day!
Wonderful and thoughtful Lori of Too Silly Sisters fame surprised me yesterday with the sweetest award. It is to give to those who brighten our day, make us smile, and generally ... make our day! I am so glad I met Lori this year, through the Bella Enchanted Mermaid Swap - she is a talented & spirited lady, and she's got the most awesome blog. Thank you again, Lori =) xoxoxo
I'd like to pass this award along to a couple of bloggers who have inspired and encouraged me as an artist - we may have lost touch a bit over the years but I am still so grateful for their kindness and welcoming when I was a new blogger.. First is Kathy Wasilewski - Kathy was one of the first people I met when I began blogging and she encouraged me to make art, and inspired me continually with her lovely altered work and collages. So thank you, Kathy - you are an artist who brightens the world everyday with your beautiful art! Second is Deb Trotter - we have lost touch a bit, but there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of and appreciate Deb's enthusiasm, her friendliness, and her ability to make art fun. So thank you so much ladies - you really have brightened my artful life =)

Beautiful Treasures in My Mailbox
This was an excellent week for finding treasures - in my mailbox, that is =) I was so excited to receive an awesome button bracelet - in two of my very favorite colors - from my dear friend Lori at Too Silly Sisters. I just love the adorable button bracelets she makes and sells on Etsy - I bought one for Lisa not too long ago, and I knew - I had to have one too ... Thank you so much, Lori - I call it my "happy bracelet" because honestly - when I wear it - I just feel happier! =)
I was also the recipient of one of Heather Robinson's lovely creations - she is one of the most talented mixed media artists I know, and she sent a tin she had altered with vintage images and embellishments. It is so incredible! I am always amazed at Heather's artwork, and am tickled pink to have an authentic "Heather Robinson" in my collection =)
So thank you so much - you are both awesome ladies & wonderful friends - and you rock the art world big time!!! xoxo

The Giveaway Goody Pics
As some of you remember, I recently had my 3rd Blogoversary and had a giveaway drawing in celebration. The winner of the giveaway was Debbie of Creations by Debbie =)
Here are some photos of what I made for her...the French-inspired shadow box (featuring a gorgeous rhinestone very vintage button), a packet of Sweet Williams to plant - just because they are so darn pretty, and a framed (French inspired, again) ATC. Unfortunately, the card you see in the photo got pink paint on it (hmmm, wonder how that happened?) so I sent Debbie a different card (but didn't have the opportunity to get a pic of it). Sorry 'bout that!
I really loved hosting a giveaway, and hope to have another one soon. Again, thank you to everyone who signed up and many, many congratulations to Debbie!
