My new 2017 calendar is ready for purchase! Please click on the Lulu link, in the right margin and it will take you to the page where you can place your order. This is a 12 month calendar, glossy, measuring 8.5" x 11" - featuring 12 unique digital images that I've created. These can be matted and framed, as the months go by, so it is pretty much like getting 12 prints for only $14.99. Pretty cool, I think =) Please let me know if you have any questions! The Happiest People I Ever Knew...
Well, Sunday morning seems like a good time to share an inspirational thought or two, so here goes...I was thinking this morning (before I decided it was *finally* time to crawl out of my warm, cozy bed) about "happy people" - people who have a smile on their face, people who can brighten the day just by saying "Hello", people I've been fortunate enough to know in my lifetime that have made me want to become a better person, just because I knew them - and I would have to say the happiest group of people I ever knew was a bunch of guys I worked with in San Diego back in the late '80's...now, these weren't just any ordinary bunch of guys (believe me, they were anything but ordinary =) ... no, these guys were incredibly talented, full of life, "music turned up" kind of guys that would probably be amazed they were being written about on someone's blog on a Sunday morning years later...let's see, there was Paul - who I just knew would become famous someday; Jim, who looked an awful lot like a famous football player who's name I won't mention; Ski, who could make me laugh even when I didn't want to; Gary, The Manager, who was easy-going enough to talk to and would remember things you told him even though he was such a busy person; and John, The Man, who drove the hottest car on the planet, lived in an amazing house on Coronado, had an East Coast ivy-league education but still cared enough to devote his time to help people who weren't as fortunate as he had been...well, anyway, I really think that what made these guys so special and memorable to me was the fact that they were creative - they were creating something *everyday* - they were sharing their talents, constantly learning, had a true respect and love for history and the environment, and were still changing the world with their visions. (By the way, if you guessed "Architects" - you're 100% correct =)
